The Final Page In 2016

This will be my first New Year weekend without seeing my kids. However, they are having the time of their lives with their mom and step-dad seeing museums and swimming in an indoor swimming pool at a cool hotel.

As the last day of 2016 began, I did my laundry, cleaned my house, cleaned my office, threw away things that I have held onto for too long, did some things I had put off all year and just now, finished the last page of The Boondock Kids that I will write in 2016. With that said, I will complete TBK in 2017 and have my 7th novel complete.

I am ready for this new year and all of the wonders and joys it will bring. Not because I am hoping for it, but because I am working on it, demanding it of myself and taking nothing less than success!

1 year ago, I was sleeping in an empty house on a hardwood floor. Now, I am days away from speaking with the founder of a New York City literary agency about BARNEY & LEXI: LOST IN LAWRENCEVILLE.

My point is that as you make your resolutions for the coming year, it is very important you realize that your entire life can change within 12 months! If you know what you want, 2017 is the time to make it a reality.

As for The Boondock Kids, the daylight is fading as Rascone welcomes them to his dwelling. He leads them towards the large Willow Tree and jumps into the hole in the ground beside it. He hollers up to Kelmare for others to follow.

The Boondock Kids begin thinking the same thing when hesitating. Kelmare assure that no harm will come to them when Louis suggests that they may be to large to fit down into the hole. Kelmare then asks Louis to close his eyes and jump.

Louis jumped into the hole and found that he had easily fell through and was standing in a small cavern that was lit by torches. Concerned, Cristena  hollered down to see if Louis was alright.

Louis laughed and asked her to come on down next. Cristena closed her eyes and jumped. The next thing she knew, she had fallen on top of Louis. Both asking if the other was alright and laughing afterwards as the dust settled.

And so is the last page and scene for 2016. I wish you a very Happy New Year and want nothing less than you goals to become your reality in 2017. May you be safe and enjoy this holiday. Happy New Year to everybody!
